Kingdom Motion Records Unveils New Signee Believe Maduka
Name: Believe Nduka Okeleke
State of Origin: Delta

Family Backgrond: I belong to a family of 6 (3 boys, 1 girl), which I happen to be the 3rd.
My father, Mr. Paul was a Bursar at Evangel University in Ebonyi state. And my mother is a
business woman.
I hail from Delta state, Oshimil North precisely, but I happen to grow up in Enugu, so
technically I still refer to Enugu as my town.
My parents are Christians from the same community and they gave us a very strong godly
foundation. When my mother was in her single days, she was part of the choir in a local
celestial church, so I can boldly say that is where I got my music genes from.
My father was an elder in an orthodox Pentecostal church, so he allowed us function in any
department of our choice, I chose choir department. Though he wasn’t going to give his
verdict for me to do music professionally, because he was of the opinion that music was
meant for folks who are lazy with reading. But for me I just went ahead and continued doing
the little I could back then.
Vocation: Singer/Song-writing. ICT Engineer
Education: I went to Chiazo Nursery/Primary School in Enugu. I had my Post-Primary
education in National Grammar School, Nike and moved on to Special Science
School Ukehe, towards Nsukka to complete my secondary schooling.
Moved on to Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra state for my OND, then got my HND
from Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri. I served in the NYSC at Benue state.
Status: Single but not searching, lol.
Hobbies: Writing songs, singing and anything computer.
How music career started: Well, I started singing since 4. But professionally in 2007,
when I was at school in Oko. I was a member of the defunct 3-serene group, where
we released one album and one unreleased! We went to a couple of competitions in
Owerri town and won it. Got a deal with a record label ( I choose not to mention),
released a couple of singles, before management started withdrawing because we
were doing gospel.
But we prevailed on our won until NYSC came and we decided to split in 2013.
In same 2013 I moved to Lagos, got a job stopped singing for a while (though I was
still doing choir). But in 2016, God’s spirit persuaded to record my very first single
“Will you Believe”. That got the attention of a lot of churches locally, and I started
getting invites. In 2017, I went back to the studio and made, “Magnify Omemma”
produced by Wilson Joel and “Change the world again”.
In 2018, I was appointed the President of Surulere Community Choir, a group that
uses music to reach it’s community and prisons within Lagos.
In 2018 God’s spirit moved me to gather musicians within my territory and I founded
Horizon Music group. I had my first concert in June 2019 and it was a great night
with God’s Spirit.
Instruments: Voice.
What to expect from me: My debut album. It’s not going to sound like the
contemporary gospel sound, but it definitely will be a spirit filled sound, that will turn
the hearts of many, both young and Old.
