Pandemonium in Abavo as Community, Police Declares Nature Wanted Over Homosexuality involvement

Pandemonium struck in Abavo kingdom, Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State on Sunday, June 18, 2017 as the news of indigenes engaging in homosexuality act broke out.
The demeanor act was allegedly committed by one Ayor Nature who is a native of Abavo, and was also said to have forced a teenager into sex.
Nemesis however caught up with Nature when his victim shouted uncontrollably due to the excruciating pains he had while in the practice. Hence, the attraction of nearby neighbours.
Narrating his ordeal, the victim said Nature lured him into the evil act which he narrowly escaped, adding that while the suspect tried to penetrate him, he shouted as he could not bear the associating pains.
“Immediately I shouted he left me and then ran away from the house,” he added.
An eyewitness account confirmed that the shout of the victim attracted the attention of nearby neighbours that subsequently reported to the community head and the police, respectively.
Meanwhile, some angry community youths who heard of the abominable incident, later went on rampage and then destroyed a car belonging to the prime suspect, Ayor Nature.
The clan head of Abavo kingdom, His Royal Highness, Obi Uche Irenuma, expressed displeasure at the alleged report of homosexuality in his domain.
He explained that Homosexuality or same sex marriage is an abominable act strictly forbidden in Abavo kingdom and it’s environs, adding that anyone caught in the act would be required to perform rigorous rituals to cleanse the land and appease the gods. He said such person, if not used for sacrifice, would be banished from the kingdom even after performing the traditional cleansing ceremony.
Following the report, the police in Delta State have declared the prime suspect, Ayor Nature, who is now at large, wanted for sodomy.
The police in a statement, urged any member of the public with useful information that might lead to the arrest of Nature, to report to the nearest police station within and outside Delta State.
It is worthy to note that homosexuality, apart from being considered a taboo in Nigeria communities, is also a criminal offence which attracts between 10 to 14 years in prison.
