Liverpool go one further than Chelsea by making seven changes from the heavy loss to Watford three days ago. Van Dijk, Mane, Fabinho and Robertson are the players to retain their places in the side, joined in the XI by youngsters Jones and Williams, who impressed in the previous two rounds. Minamino is handed just a third start since joining in January – all coming in this competition – with Salah and Firmino among the subs.

Lampard has made six changes to Chelsea’s starting line-up on the back of Saturday’s 2-2 league draw at Bournemouth. Kepa returns to the side in place of Caballero, while Rudiger and Zouma take over from Tomori and Andreas Christensen in the heart of defence. There are also recalls for Gilmour, Barkley and Willian, with Reece James, Jorginho and Mount making way as the hosts revert to a 4-3-3 formation.
